Why Qualifying for a Window Tax Credit Is Easy

Family Happiness

The Department of Energy is committed to helping American families invest in high-quality, energy-efficient windows. That’s why the federal government’s energy-efficiency tax credit has been retroactively extended through the end of 2013. This means that if you purchased new windows, window replacements, or doors from Window World of Central Florida during 2012, you are still eligible to receive a tax credit for qualifying window products. This window tax credit will cover up to 10 percent of the total cost of replacement windows and doors up to $500. Specifically, there is a $200 maximum tax credit for windows and a $300 maximum tax credit for energy-efficient doors. All you have to do is download and fill out U.S. tax form 5695.

For more information about the retroactive window tax credit , call Window World at (321) 282-6200 or visit our website. We have a great selection of replacement windows and doors for homeowners and businesses in Orlando.
