    Entry Doors

Comfort World thermal entry doors are made of the highest quality materials. Window World doors are designed and installed professionally, and are guaranteed to provide you with a lifetime of worry-free, energy efficient service. A layer of solid polyurethane foam lines the inside of the doors, providing maximum energy efficiency ratings.

Window World also offers a large variety of optional entry door glasslites, doorlites, and sidelites. These insulated glass panes add a unique and luxurious feel to any home, without sacrificing the door’s ability to block out the heat and cold.

To beautify and extend the height or width of your entry way, complement your Window World Comfort World entry door with one or two sidelites available in 12″ and 14″ widths. Both beautiful and practical, insulated Comfort World sidelights provide extra security and viewing area around your entryway. Many of our replacement doors are available with color-matched aluminum clad, custom color-matched shutters, and optional storm doors.

    French Doors

One of the more elegant door options offered by Window World is the French door style . Usually opening into the house, French doors are unique because they allow for both doors to swing open, creating a wider walkway, and letting in a larger amount of light and airflow than a traditional doorway. Because of the large amount of glass within the door structure, French doors are more of a luxurious design leading to a patio or an alternate room.

    Garage Door Systems

While Garage Doors are a necessary addition to a house, they can speak volumes about the pride you take in your home. Choosing the right Premium Garage Door system can make a major impact on your home, and Window World Garage Doors provide the perfect balance between looks and rugged functionality.

  • Window World Sponsored Indy Car Takes Victory Lane!

If you were following the IndyCar Toyota Grand Prix at Long Beach this weekend, you saw something wonderful – the #27 Window World Cares car sitting in Victory Lane! The driver was Mike Conway, who scored his first win since suffering severe injuries from a crash in last year’s Indy 500.

We’re thrilled for Mike and, of course, our friends at Andretti Autosport, who generously donated the car sponsorship to Window World Cares. We’re so happy to be affiliated with another one of Andretti Autosport’s class act drivers. We’re looking forward to watching Mike finish strong in the Window World Cares car at a few more IndyCar races this year!

The momentum from Mike’s win and the strong Andretti Autosport finish couldn’t have come at a better time. Window World is gunning for another Victory Lane finish – this time with a $1 million prize for one lucky person at stake!

There are less than TWO weeks left in the WIN WIN promotion entry period. Eligible participants have until May 1 to enter to win a trip to the Indy 500, and the chance to win a cool $1 million if the Window World car crosses the finish line first once more – this time with John Andretti behind the wheel. We want to give as many people as possible the chance to win, so please help us spread the word to your friends, customers, social media networks – anyone who’s up for a trip to see “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing!”

Promotion details and the entry form are available at the Window World website: http://www.windowworld.com/win-win-with-john-andretti/

  • Qualities to Look for in a Great Window Installation Company

Finding a window installer to put in your replacement windows isn’t difficult, especially with modern technology.  While it’s easy to find a window installation company, how do you know you’re getting a good one?   Your search for a reliable window installer will be a lot easier if you keep a few critical things in mind as you look.

    • Ask each window installer you talk to for an estimate , and compare them. Ask about the warranty each company offers for its replacement windows. Make sure the installer is insured. Ask what they do to ensure that each window is energy-efficient.

    • The longer the company has been around, the better. A window installer with experience is going to be better equipped to handle a variety of window situations than one that’s in its first year of business. Also, ask about the team’s level of experience; you don’t want to work with a company where all of the window installers were hired last month.

    • The quality of the window matters. Ask the window installer about the supplier they get their replacement windows from, and check to make sure that the supplier is a reputable company that uses solid, durable materials. If you’re uncomfortable with the price you’re quoted on your windows, ask if they have more cost-effective window replacement options available.

  • Tips for Maximizing Your Home’s Energy Efficiency After Installing Replacement Windows

Adding energy-efficient replacement windows to your home is a great first step toward conserving the total amount of energy that you expend. But it’s not the only step you need to take; energy can be wasted almost anywhere in your home, and the evidence can be seen in your utility bills every month.

As your replacement windows are being installed, take a look around your home. Where are you wasting energy?

    • Check your home for air leaks . Electrical outlets, attic hatches, mail slots, and mounted air conditioners are all possible sources of air leaks, and preventing them can increase your energy savings by up to 30 percent.

    • Make sure that your doors are properly sealed ; even one leak can be an enormous waste. You will want a door sweep to ensure that no air can leak out under your door, and you’ll also want to check the seals on all your doors and any replacement windows regularly to ensure that they don’t have any leaks.

    • Many homeowners inadvertently spend more than they need to on lighting. Consider replacing some of your light bulbs with lower-watt ones, or compact fluorescent bulbs. Simply turning off lights when no one is in the room isn’t a bad idea, either.

    • You might consider having a home energy assessment, or audit, done by an energy professional. This is an excellent way to identify which specific areas in your home are wasting energy.
